Blog-vember Catch Up!

Hello there,

How are we all enjoying this lovely cold November weather?

I personally love putting my big woolly scarf and hat on it makes it feel rather christmasy!

 

I've had a pretty quiet week.

 It was back to college on Tuesday and I was pampered with my hair washed and dried, I really do love training to be a hairdresser.

Then Wednesday I had a job interview, which went well and I've been invited back for a second interview next week.

Thursday was college again, I had a client in and I did a shampoo and set and created a lovely 40's style!

 

 

Other than that my weeks been relaxed and uneventful!

Tomorrow will be a quiet night in the local pub and a takeaway when we get home.

Sunday HOPEFULLY will entail a Sunday dinner somewhere and a snuggle with my dog!

 

These posts will get more exciting I promise but at the moment I'm focusing on my interviews.

Blog-vember: Day 5

Today has being a very very boring day, I spent the whole day attached to my netbook applying for jobs. Oh and I nipped to morrisons for chicken and pasta salad. I told you it was boring!

Tomorrow is back to college and I can not wait!!

Blog-vember: Days 1-4 :)

Well hello there my little bloglins :). wow it has been a busy week. October ended on a crap note, I had a job open day that turned out to be 2 days long -_- and then an interview, and it turned out to be pointless because when they offered me the job I had to turn it down because it interferes with college :(. If that wasn't crap enough I have tooth ache and a poorly wisdom tooth that has to come out, and it has to be done in hospital!

So now on to November :)

November 1st, I had lovely cuddles with my best friends beautiful baby :). Then a day late me and the lovely boyfriend carved pumpkins! We had 3, a little pumpkin family if you like!

November 2nd, I didn't really do much I nipped out to do a bit of shopping with mother but other than that it was a pretty chilled out day.

November 3rd, I tidied my room from top to bottom! Sorted through clothes and all sorts! After 10 bags of rubbish I roped my other half into helping me take it to the tip :). Last night we went to a lovely bonfire ate pie and peas and burgers :) YUM, and got very very merry! We are incredibly lucky to have such a great bunch of friends :).

Which brings me to today!
November 4th, after a nice lay in i'm blogging leisurely from my bed, on my to do list is ironing :(. However I am looking forward to my mothers sunday lunch later on!! There's nothing finer!

So there you have it, November so far!

Coming Soon..... Blog-vember

OK, So welcome to Blog-vember.

Lets Imagine this is the beginning of a fresh start for me and my blog as the last few months haven't been great, in fact 2012 has been a rubbish year for me.

Let me just give you a quick run down.

 

3 deaths.

1 majorly ill family member (now recovering).

3 hospitalised family members.

1 lost passport.

1 cancelled holiday.

1 re booked holiday, resulting in it costing double.

1 lost job.

1 crashed car.

 

And now you ask? what else could possibly go wrong?

I am sat in bed nursing an infected wisdom tooth and dreading tomorrows dentist visit followed by taxing my car. The joys of being an adult ey?!

 

 

So as of November I will be beginning Blog-vember I cant promise a blog every day but I will try my hardest to blog plenty :).

BLOGTOBER?

Hola :)

 

Wow, it has been a very long time since I've blogged.

I've been having abit of a mad busy time but things seem to be calming down now.

 

A quick run down of things in my absence:

- I enrolled in a part time hairdressing course at college :)

- I had a lovely weeks holiday :)

- I had issues with money and my car :(

- My cousin went off to Uni, proud big cousin moment :')

- We celebrated my lovely Grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary :)

- I met up with my best friend (who now lives in the isle of man) in Liverpool.

- Passed my first college assessments with distinctions :)

 

So to apologise for my long absence I'm going to attempt to blog every day in October (for the remainder) and tittle it BLOGTOBER.

What ever happened to the trusted pen and paper method?

Well Hello there,

If your wondering why this post is laid out completly differently to past posts its because i've had to give my little netbooky a rest due to a nasty pants virus. So whilst that is at the side of me having a little virus scan I thought I'd fire up the trusty old Compaq Pressario Laptop I used to know and love! With in 5 minutes I remembered why I'd bought my little pink Dell Inspiron mini, this old laptop sounds as if its going to blow up! 
Anywho back to the virus on my pretty little netbook :( its making me very sad. For a while now I've been wanting to watch the Pretty Little Liars series and when I dropped my lovely boyfriend off at work this morning decided today would be the very day I started the series. So I cam home got myself all snuggled with my pooch, some chocolate and my netbook, google-d Pretty Little Liars and got totally enthralled in the program! 5 episodes in my netbook froze and up popped a screen saying 'Police Central e-crime Unit' and that i'd broken a copyright law well you can imagine little old me sat there traumatised that I had broken the law by watching a tv show online, at the bottom of the website it also said I had a fine of £100 to pay within 72 hours! Yeah yeah I know who'd believe the police were demanding money over the world wide web?! Daisy thats who! I rang my boyfriend in tears convinced I was going to prison for watching tv! Anyway he calmed me down and i'm not at the stage where I'm trying to fix it, fingers crossed it works :).

I just thought i'd write a quick post on it just incase anyone comes across anything similar and is daft enough to almost pay it like I did :).

Holiday Tips, whats in my beach bag?

Hola,

 

In 12 days I will be landing in Sunny Spain with my lovely boyfriend for a week of sunbathing and cocktails :).

It can't come soon enough if you ask me!

 

So what to I put in my beach bag

This lovely beach bag was of a market in Goa I believe it was the Baga Night Market but don't quote me on that. What I do know is it was 300Rupees which is around £3.50.

I also carry a towel, usually an Itsa which is a beach towel that folds into a bag with lots of zippy compartments for security. The towel in the picture is just a normal pink beach towel as my Itsa is in the wash (I love fresh washed towels).

I apologise for the sideways photo some reason it wont let me change it!

Sooo here it goes:

- Suncream

- Lip SPF

- A good beachy read I love the I Heart... series by Lindsey Kelk

- A spare bikini (far too many bikinis have broken on me!)

- A beach cover up for when the sun gets too much for my fair skin!

- Leave in Condition (this Aussie one smells amazing) for when I've been in the water.

- Hairbrush

- A hair clip to keep my hair out of the salt water as much as I can!

 

We usually have a bottle of water too and a few euros for a sunbed and an ice cream!
